In the same boat but not "in the same boat"... Discrimination or Not???

Jun 03, 2020: *** In the same boat but not "in the same boat"... Discrimination or Not??? ***

In the spring of #2017, three professionals Mr A, Mr K and Mr T are sailing on the same #boat somewhere near North Atlantic. The boat is small and is not designed to sail to distant destinations. To sail farther, they need to get on a bigger boat but there is a catch. The "big boss" won't sanction the big boat unless all 3 get on it. So all 3 agree to get on and are safely transitioned to the bigger boat.

In the spring of #2018, as they tend to reach about 1/5th of their expected journey Mr T is asked to disembark the bigger boat and sail back to the shore. When Mr T investigates he realises his spot has been traded for other gains. Mr T wonders on what basis was he selected and not either of the other two as all three of them have been "in the same boat", metaphorically speaking.

Mr T requests to allow him to continue till 2/5th of the journey or at least till he gets his affairs in order but Mr T is bullied into sailing back to the shore.

Will Mr T be allowed to resume sailing the boat?

Will Mr T run into conflict with the "#System"?

Will the "System" take offense to the conflict?

To what lengths will the "System" go to retaliate?

What will the future present to Mr T?

... To be continued ...

PS: To state the obvious but for the record, Oxford defines #Discrimination as "treating somebody or a particular group in society less fairly than others"
